The real reason is that it is impossible to fake the billions of stars that you would see from there, so they just make up a story about it being too bright.
When on earth you are engulfed by the atmosphere which is illuminated by the light of the sun, there is a huge distinction between sunlight and daylight. In "space" as they have described it there is no atmosphere to wash out the light of the stars, you would most certainly see them, in fact the whole background should be almost covered with starlight.
The moon landings were an obvious fraud as they now claim they cannot go anywhere into "outer space". Technology has improved drastically and you and I should be able to take trips to the moon by now.
The bitter clingers of the helio-nonsensical religion refuse to see the obvious lies that were fed to them at a young age. The whole notion of living on a spinning and flying sphere may be the most retarded idiocy possible, yet so many cannot climb out of this delusion.
No one actually knows what the sun and moon really are, they could just be lights and not actually physical objects, anyone who tells you they know what they are is lying.
My table is a circle and is hung on nothing, is it a floating sphere?
The ancients were far more intelligent than anyone today and they knew perfectly well the concept of a sphere.
