Jew is actually Judean (as in country) in the NT. There were two types of Jews. Some "heard him gladly". The others were not Israelites as they admitted to Christ in John 8:33 when they admitted they had never been in "bondage to any man". They were of Esau/Edom. They make up about 9% of today's Jews. 90% are of a grandson of Japheth and are not Israelites. Grats for speaking about the subject!
