I've always used Coinbase for any crypto (bullshit company, but I'm not really into crypto). But somebody was asking me about this edge.app company and I figured I'd ask on here, since there are a few crypto people on here.

Coinbase isn't a wallet. I'm not familiar with Edge, though i did just install it and setup an account. And it doesn't seem to give you (the user) access to your private keys, or any 12-24 word BIP39 mnemonic, the current standard. Only a username and password. Which in turn must be stored on a server somewhere, which aren't ideal and prone to manipulation, downtime, breaches, etc. It's also permissioned access, which can be revoked im sure.... This doesn't seem like a "wallet" at all. It in no way fits the definition of a wallet. I personally wouldn't use it.
Awesome thank you so much for taking the time, since I don't really know enough about this stuff anymore.
