I will petition the mods to pin every Flat Earth thread if you can explain with a diagram how to use the Flat Earth map to predict the heading of the sunrise in New Zealand, Australia and South America in the winter.
I've never tried. Do you use a globe to predict that?
For New Zealand at least, the entire country is south of the tropic of Capricorn. So it wouldn't matter globe or plane, the sun should always be on a path to the north. Australia and South America have the tropic of Capricorn going through them so it would depend where you are and what day of the year.
