This is why looking at the Greek and Hebrew Texts is so important. Sometimes the Greek teaches quite a different doctrine than the English. The words Jew and Gentile shouldn't even be in the Bible for examples.
Which English version of the bible is the best/most accurate to read?
I use the KJV because it is tied to Strong's concordance. Yet, Strong's isn't perfect, but very helpful. There is no perfect translation. For example here is Philippians 2:15 "That ye may be blameless and unmixed, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse race, among whom ye shine as lights in the world". How about that for something that is not PC. It is all through the book.
