Never patented anything but I think it's common to use or modify existing patents for new purposes. Lot of it is probably patent trolling or trying to be the first to plant the flag and just sue as many people as possible or licensing for someone that actually develops a working version of said thing.
Jewish warfare is lawfare, hence why we have so many laws and regulations. It's a living nightmare.
I have a provisional patent issued and full utility patent filed for an improvement on an existing product. All I had to do was demonstrate the idea would improve the product, give customer benefit from use, and renderings or photos of any prototype. Sent photos.
Issued a provisional in April 2019.

This came out in 2020. Also the WTI showing listings of orders for covid19 test kits and PPE in 2018. Custom face cloths the same. Patents.google or the USPTO. Simply look for utility patents on fill in the blank. Any covid related product was designed, patented, manufactured, distributed long before the coof became trendy. Covid is a registered trademark.
