The US thinks they are tough because they have never actually been in a real war with real stakes. The most casualties the US has ever suffered, was when they shot themselves in the civil war. Bra fucking vo.

I honestly don't think they're giving it all; if they were, Kiev would be smoldering.
If they took the gloves off and gave it the Baghdad treatment, this would have been over in weeks.
Problem is; they're not conducting a war of imperialism 5000 km from home, they're literally operating on their borders - it's a bad idea to treat your borderland with the same amount of cruelty the US inflicted on the Iraqis.
