They started giving hep b shots to newborns in 1991 not there... Have they rolled out a new hepatitis b shot for newborns within the last decade?..... Just looked a new one in 2017 . Maybe a factor like how flu shots make you more likely to catch respiratory illnesses even flu when taken in repetitious years
I initially thought the same thing myself. I’ve only read one article on the subject but in the us, a large percentage of the afflicted are under 6, meaning they weren’t eligible to get the vaccine. And there was a larger percentage from the south where the percentage of vaccinated people is lower.
There still could be a link but It doesn’t seem to be directly vaccine related
