Conspiracy/alt-news forums are an attempt to crowdsource truth without complete information, so it should be a cooperative effort where people add what ideas or facts they can to build the best working theory. The good information ought to rise to the top and the bad information will fall out of favor over time.
Things to watch out for:
-When people promote fear they're usually selling something.
-People who start controversy over a topic rather than contributing their viewpoint aren't worth listening to. If you find a particular topic to be unworthy of discussion just downvote it and move on rather than trying to derail it.
-People who repeatedly accuse others of being a fed without contributing to a topic aren't worth listening to.
I agree.
