95% of earth data is run through undersea cables. Look into it. There are no space cruising beam distributors running on solar and orbiting the earth at 10,000mph. That’s why you aim your dish within millimetres of the antenna signal. You would not have to do that if earth was a spinning ball and data came from space.
You may want to check out the community I created specifically to discuss such questions!
Sadly we don't have much more than speculation on this though.
In my view, the most likely answer is that they are balloons in an actual swirling sky above us (not appearing to rotate because the world is; actually rotating because the sky is!)
Still, there are many anecdotes about people not being able to use satellite phones when they are too far away from terrestrial broadcast towers and centers of population density (cities, towns etc.)
The vast majority of all data traffic is by cable, and that will not change in the foreseeable future (until/unless the cables are destroyed, that is...)
There is plenty of evidence to support the speculation that satellites are merely balloons, including footage of downed satellites with the broken balloon still attached to them. However, that is just another piece of evidence and "proof" is a very subjective thing!
There are others that suggest that the "show" in the sky is merely a distraction, and that more conventional (focused radio arrays etc.) terrestrial techniques are in fact employed. Speculations abound, but I am somewhat doubtful that they would tell us the truth about it in any case. How about you?

Sure, but which evidence?
A story from an untrustworthy MIC source, or independently verified and verifiable footage?
It's satellites, but an oversaturation of them to get complete coverage. There will be nowhere to go to escape the police state.
Explain.
A voice of reason ITT
Anyone who has ever used a satellite phone in a remote area or an early version of GPS knows that satellites are in fact very real.
