They just pretend they never did and all anyone who still remembers is a kooky conspiracy theorist.
If it's truthful from another government, it's misinformation. Only messages from your government are truthful. And if it's from the citizens, then it's also misinfo. Questioning the message is wrong. Literally 1984.
Simple. They come out and say that anti lockdown propoganda is of Russian origin. Anyone who disagrees is a fascist.
