There's something wrong with this article. Was it written by AI? Pay close attention... (www.cnn.com)

I see what you mean.

It follows a very obvious set of formula.

The continuous references to sources is so odd and jarring

I know WaPo was testing an AI that wrote articles based on predefined narratives. I suspect they will move towards having AI ghostwrite more and more of their propaganda in the future... It might already be happening. I don't even think an NPC could write an article this... Monotonous

It’s very robotic with no feeling or personal accounts. It does look like AI, many news sites do use them to create articles. Hell there are even AI sites that will punch up your college paper fix nearly all errors (got to keep a few) then scan for plagiarism and citations.

Give us some clues, what did you find in the article that made you think this, and what do you think the implications are?

Basically what Jacobin said... It doesn't flow naturally, and there are so many [x] said, [y] reported... Especially to end paragraphs. It's like they had an AI spit shit out at random. Even the order of events seems off.... Not something you would expect to see 4 reporters write, even the gender-studies bottom of their class asshats that CNN hires.
