Sometimes I want to open the linked content in a new window. In order to do so, if it happens to be a Twitter post or some other thing that attempts to load a preview when I click the thumbnail on the right, the only way for me to do this is to open the post in a new tab manually and then click the link to the content. I would like a tiny little external link icon next to each post that, when clicked, automatically opens the linked content in a new tab. (I'm on a smartphone for context)
One reason for wanting to open the linked content in a new window is to share the source (e.g., a tweet). Another is because the preview won't open because of an ad blocker or some other reason. Twitter previews never open for me, for example.

That's not exactly what I'm looking for, but it saves me one step. What I'm looking for is the ability to open the linked content in a new tab; like if it's a Twitter post, then jump straight from the list view here to the tweet in a new tab, via a single click, and without having to press and hold (on phone) or CTRL click (on desktop).
hold down "control" while clicking any link, to open into a new tab.
