This one is amazing, artifacts discovered well below the Clovis level (~13,000 years ago). Other sites in the USA show artifacts from 20,000 to 50,000 years back. So basically the dictum that North America barren until ~13,000 years prior is in error.

Notable above, oldest years for strike listed as anywhere from 3,000,000 to 2,000,000 years ago up to 11-13,000. So any civilization present would have been reset by the strike (possible Younger Dryas initiator).
