I know this theory has circled a bit a few years ago, although I can't recall exactly where, Graham Hancock maybe or megalithomania. I don't think it's by any means impossible. The website you link to is just too much hearsay though it could be creationist propaganda, it's stories of people who are related to somebody who knew somebody who might have gone on an expedition, maybe.
