To reset back to an impossible promise now that through so many real world trials the stated efficacy has fallen down down down and the length of effect is down too. Suddenly the same drug leaps back to 100% (as in “no vaccine is 100% effective” which Redditors say endlessly). I felt a real chill go down my spine when I saw this earlier. It’s the same drug! How can it have changed so starkly?

The ironic aspect of the whole vaccine vs natural immunity argument is that a vaccine is only ever as effective as the immune system of the recipient.
