I come home from work every night around midnight. Nearly every night that is clear, the moon is visible at the zenith of its path (which doesn't make any astronomical sense). Usually, the moon is at or about a 45-50 degree angle from the southern horizon at this point. However, some nights, the moon is nearly at sky zenith, and I have to really crane my neck hard to find it. That happened last night, and I know that can't possibly be normal because just yesterday it was at about 45 degrees.
What do you guys think is going on? I know this is the harbor of conspiracies and theories, so hopefully you guys know what is happening.
I'm having a feeling the main answer will be shills blabbing about the moon being an alien spacecraft lol
The moon can naturally reflect light. But you go with some "things they placed there", not the obvious reflection of sunlight almost every day you see the moon.
And yet you can't.
