Fun theory, but I don't think any of their actions nessarily imply having "seen something coming". I think it's much simpler-- they view 99.9 percent of mankind as unnecessary and unfit for existence. It's not really that foreign of conclusion; I think we all experience it at a certain level. I suppose what makes "us" different, however, is the understanding that we have no right to determine the fate of another conscious entity, except in extreme cases.
