If hospitalization is up but severe cases are the same, I wonder how they define, 'hospitalization'?
It could be that the number of people who went to the hospital when they were sick.
They have a fear mongering campaign going on right now that among other things makes people more likely to goto the hospital when they feel symptoms, so if the number of parents who become more concerned the to.propaganda has increased , and there are now 5 times as many people going to the hospital when their kid feels a bit sick I would not at all be surprised.
