I took the time to research this theory and I can confirm that it is wrong. However, what is clear is that the current person is, in fact, Dave Chappelle but not the free-thinking Dave Chappelle as before.
Here's the breakdown:
Check any pictures of both to compare ears, mouth, hairline, mustache-line, eyes, eyebrows, etc. - they all match. A potential face change will require scars from surgery - none exist on what you call "fake Dave".
Also, here's the current Dave doing his old characters which would've revealed if there's something incorrect - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=--IS0XiNdpk
Furthermore, here's the current Dave proving that he needs glasses to see properly - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MtiwuGNaGg0 ["I can't read what's on the teleprompter"]
Yes, a 43-year-old person will probably need glasses. His voice would be scratchy due to smoking. Yes, if he is not focused on doing comedy shows but his family, perhaps he did focused on working out to build his body.
There's not enough for you to conclude that the current Dave is not the real Dave. Also, that bs with the skin is just the light... The video compares a picture where Dave is in shadow, only light comes from camera, and one where Dave is clearly at sunlight.
I did my research properly and I know far too well how to spot even cousins due to facial similarities due to my previous job but feel free to contest my statements or check them for themselves. This "clone theory" doesn't hold water in this case.
Old Dave Chappelle IS NEW DAVE. This theory really just banks on the similarities of the faces between him and the other actor. However, the other actor's skull is clearly bigger and this cannot be changed with any surgery. The AI that put the photos also caught the similarities and added Dave's picture there which I guess is the start of this theory. It is wrong and you can clearly see it.
I agree that the new Dave is not as active as old Dave but this what age does to people. Good theory but wrong. He states he did that for money and he probably agreed to remove some things to get money, or rejoined the club... whatever it was, it is really Dave Chappelle, not an imposter.
The face being so similar could easily be explained with the clone theory, and I'm sure modern technology can complete facial surgery with no noticeable scars. Your rebuttal kind of falls apart if you're relying solely on physical appearance, which of you look close enough does have striking differences to the real Dave. Plus the video of him at the awards show doesn't at all seem like the Dave from 2000.
:D Clone theory. If it were real, they would just make enough clones and they wouldn't need to subdue us - just erase us and keep the clones.
Good luck with your theory. I only deal with facts and the current Dave is the actual Dave Chappelle, just older. Make sure your tinfoil hat doesn't get tight around your head. If you don't want to hear evidence and you just believe your theory - so be it. You're not a researcher, you would believe anything anyone posts ever. :D
