43 2 "incidents" in the Suez canal so far today - a cargo ship briefly lost power and later an oil tanker briefly ran a ground. Someone is definitely targeting the canal (by hacking ships controls), through which about 12% or Global trade runs. posted 3 years ago by clemaneuverers 3 years ago by clemaneuverers +43 / -0 No good news links on the "incidents" yet, just brief reports. https://www.hindustantimes.com/world-news/suez-canal-traffic-briefly-stopped-after-oil-tanker-loses-power-101617708667646.html https://youtu.be/qYVdfP0Wdas http://www.maritimebulletin.net/2021/04/06/two-aframax-tankers-ran-aground-in-suez-canal/ 12 comments share 12 comments share save hide report block hide replies
Yes every ship is boarded by a canal Captain.
Who benefits from the blocked canal? Its russians on one side, americans on the other right? Does israel benefit? Iran? UN? I dont know, but follow the money.
Yeah Israel benefits. Iran can’t get oil to Syria when the Suez is blocked. It hurts their efforts there with Assad against the rebels.
The plan is. To save the world from climate change. Its all linked into that
Were not exporting much oil and gas.the wells are idling. Were plugging and remediation thousands
But why? Who profits from this massive international trade but the very wealthy and powerful?

It has been speculated that a hacker could seize control of a ship's autopilot and run it aground or into another ship for a long time.
