Why is it that whenever some boomer on Fox News start talking about the correlation between violence and video games, everybody freaks out and start mocking even the possibility that there may be some correlated data linking the two together? I'm not sold on the idea that video games leads to violence but I still want to hear what the other side has to say because I'm interested in the psychology behind it.
Go to youtube and look it up. Whenever some boomer starts talking about how he's not a fan of Grand Theft Auto, you always see hundred of comments strawmanning like "I play Mario cart and I don't shoot schools" or "Tetris doesn't turn me violent". No you retards, he's specifically talking about games like Grand Theft Auto. You're just deflecting the argument by changing the subject to Mario or Tetris.
I still don't think video games magically turns someone into a school shooter but the fact the gamers always overreact and make up ridiculous counter arguments doesn't help their case.
Even if they do find a link between violence and video games, what are they gonna do? Make it illegal? Set an age limit on certain games? So fucking what? Alcohol causes a lot of problems. They set an age limit on alcohol but that still doesn't stop teens from figuring out how to get alcohol. Why do gamers panic so much that even discussing or researching the link between violence and video games is ridiculed and discouraged?
There is no "link" dumbass. Gamers are far more accepting than your average basic twitter bitch, twitch thot, or other conceited social manipulation platform user because they have to work together towards a common goal. There is no spewing a bunch of gay shit (like this post) and getting praise for it like you work for msnbc, faggot.
Go put in your resume at vox with Carlos maza, you fake victim ass faggot
bit of an overreaction comment don't you think? I'm just asking questions you're acting like you wanna rip my head off.
