Post-war 1950s culture had a far different view of the world than our brainwashed society does now. Returning soldiers had been through tough situations and had been exposed to other cultures and had appreciation for them but also caution about the effect of foreign influences. And they'd seen tyranny. But anyway, the average person had a good degree of maturity.
Modern young generations have had it too good and easy, and now they throw tantrums if you disagree with them. They can be fanatically hateful for those who are not like them, and yet at the same time claim empathy for the 'underprivileged'. This is a hypocritical dichotomy but they've been brainwashed.
As bad as some of the 1950s was in some ways, I'd take that country over the present country.
The Twilight Zone kind of represents the era of small-town Illinois a la Ray Bradbury. That day is gone forever and all we seem to have now is urban s**t where you dare not leave your doors unlocked or let kids play outside all day, and BLM fosters hate. We face a slick dictatorial future (Twitter, Facebook, schools shaping minds towards disunity.)
But - isn't it funny that far left seems like aliens trying to disrupt Earth without guns, but using a sideways approach ... hmm, shades of Invasion of the Body Snatchers too.
Great episode. Great show. Unfortunately, people's cognitive dissonance is so high they can ban books and perform massive censorship while simultaneously calling others "Nazis."

Now I understand Joe Biden. He dropped on the Earth, from Uranus.
