That woman had great timing and would not skip a beat, she was operating at an average of 99.5% perfection rate which is exceptional for someone associated with politics.
What's the implication here though. Why is she being fed to the lions every time? It ultimately comes back on Biden and damages his reputation. Are they just expecting the media to not question them and keep it light?
That is exactly their expectation. They, correctly, believe the media to be their ally. THey do not expect to have to field any questions that might reflect poorly on an EO. I am quite surprised anything even this mildly challenging got through.
