The Conspiracies community is obviously the most politically diverse one, both on Reddit and on Win.
/r/conspiracy and c/conspiracies are the two last places in the world where rightists and leftists have civilized discussions and learn from eachother. I am a traditionalist Conservative who scores right-wing both on the social and the economical axis. I'm religious, a great fan of Donald Trump and genuinely believe that there is a secret plan (Q) to save America and the whole world. Therefore, I spend most of my time on Patriots and Great Awakening. I realized that Trump is the good one in 2016, when I began noticing how biased the MSM was and what unfair advantage Hillary had.
Knowing that filter bubbles are dangerous no matter where you stand politically, I frequently come to Conspiracy communities to have my worldview challenged and learn from those with different opinions.
The great thing about this forum is that while you might find your view of Donald Trump or your economical theory challenged by a leftie, we all agree on fundamental things like the existence of suppressed technologies or secret societies. I think that this open-mindedness and refusal to blindly believe official narratives unites us, at the same time filtering those out who fail to consider opposing opinions.
What's your ideology and why? Apart from c/Conspiracies, are you active on other Win forums? How did you arrive where you are now, did you change your political views? If yes, how did it happen? Did a key event make you realize that what you used to believe in is wrong?
first election I could vote in was Bush Jr’s second term. It was the last election I voted in until 2020
since 2004 I have followed politics like a hawk, and came to hate America (the government). I always had a bad feeling about any of the front runners.
through the years I witnessed just how corrupt and screwed we all were. I began praying (not religious) for the complete dismantling of our government. I didn’t want it to be war, I just wanted us to completely fail, regroup, and constitutionally rebuild a very limited government.
wasn’t a fan of Trump in 2015-16. I enjoy intellectual people and I deemed him not so for one reason or another. BUT...... I absolutely abhor the left; I absolutely loved how he made them squirm.
I began to realize in 2017-18 Trump was my guy, the dude who was in it for the right reasons. He could be the one who does what needs to be done (re: dismantling the government to rebuild). Hence, he got me to vote again.
I had my own opinions and theories about how the election/inauguration would turn out. Then I kept hearing msm making a big deal of Q, so I took a look. Now I go to GAW every waking moment. There is something there; though, we may not know exactly what it is yet.
I also like to check conspiracies because I’m entertained by conspiracies. I think the best fact I took from college is that in every rumor there is a level of truth being told. Like Schrödinger’s cat, you have to open the box to know.
