it appears to be a narrative that would get America and the ccp to attack each other, while also finally giving Israel their war with Iran. Kill a few birds with one stone.. this might be what is really going on behind the scenes, trump doesn’t want war with Iran, we’ve seen that narrative derailed multiple times during the last 4 years. I half expect to see the idea of war with Iran pushed really hard in the next few days, no matter who is president.
Edit - by going on behind the scenes, I mean trump is being offered support to secure the presidency if he accepts this narrative.
You're getting real close to what I have heard: For the last four years, the pro-Beijing factions have been pushing for more aggressive solutions onto Iran, which the Trump team has refused to adopt.
Consider what has happened specifically during the presidency of Donald Trump: The Iranians shot down a $200ish million dollar recon drone. The Iranians doubled down on their Syrian and Yemeni operations. The Iranians threw a bunch of ordinance at Saudi oil infrastructure, taking more daily oil supply offline than any attack at any time in history. The Iranians deployed forces to crack down on anti-Iranian protests in Iraq. The American response to all of it was the same: nothing.
The obvious but crucial question we should ask is that which nations would be the top beneficiaries if Iran collapsed? Other than the evident ones such as Israel and Saudi Arabia, it's China in my opinion.
Tidbits:
Did you know, on Jan 7, 2020, at the end of the Iran's missile attacks toward the Ayn Al Asad base and the Erbil, Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the nation is ready to come back to full compliance in the nuclear deal? This was quite opposite to what Iran was saying on Dec. 19, 2019: Iran was testing new IR-9 centrifuges that convert mined uranium into nuclear fuel, which was a clear violation of the 2015 Agreement. Based on said announcement, the word was people from the both sides met and talked. And they really didn't like it.

Libs will say this is fake
Sad. If if only someone would have done something to increase election security over the last 4 years.
