There was a post on Re***t from someone claiming to know a bunch of people from the protest, and their claim was that the breach might have started while Trump was speaking. The post has since been removed.

didn't read. i tried to work out the timeline, but with all of the disinformation, who knows? i saw posts quoting different timezones, etc. I don't know. a smartphone updates when it crosses a TZ.

but yeah, there are reports of breach before the speech ends.
