I get that part being fishy, but the timing of the west's discovery of the Holocaust doesn't make sense as an anti-hitler propaganda tool. Hitler was already invading cities and bombing the fuck out of the UK. The allies were already plenty motivated to fight the Germans.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the extent of the Holocaust discovered towards the end of the war, not before it?

Indeed, that is interesting. But I don't see how it supports the notion that the Holocaust was a propaganda tool for the west.
