I believe that the goal is to destroy religion, but, it is going to create the opposite effect. Some people will commit acts of violence and destroy themselves. But, the more I think, I wonder how many will stand in morality. I know it is not many. But, I am not certain that good people will just stop being good.
If their idea of God is gone, a truly good person will not turn evil. I believe that there exists an innate ability to discern right from wrong, and that blade is blunted by targeted influence. This is a global problem, if real
What we call "ETs" are the Angels and Demons of old. I don't believe a confirmation of their existence will replace religion, per say, but I believe that it will explain to us in greater detail the very simple and rudimentary concepts written about in our sacred ancient texts. Humans will understand that they are physical, biological Entities that were "created" by a higher power, same as man was. More powerful, more intelligent, more advanced- but nonetheless, they were made by something and have pursued questions pertaining to their own origins same as us.
Their existence being confirmed does not nullify the question of a Creator or Spirituality- on the contrary, it expounds on those questions. There are "good" and "bad" factions of these species...and it is reasonable to think that these beings probably have their own concepts of Spirituality and Morality- Good and Bad, Right and Wrong.
Just a little reminder. The Illumined believe they were seeded by aliens. Also Adam Weishaupt founded the Illuminati on May 1, 1776. 5/1/1776......Area 51.
There are some world-shaking truths ahead for mankind. No matter where the road takes us, remember:
"For all that lives is holy; Life delights in Life."
As many of our colored friends would say, all lives matter! Especially the alien ones.
