They did a similar fake mea culpa when they said oh yeah lockdowns will kill people, there will be economic impacts, masks don't work.
Then they wash their hands, the story gets buried or under-reported, local regulations aren't changed.
Florida was trying to make it mandatory to report cycle count with the lab test so that is at least a step in the right direction.
