So nothing then. I mean really nothing happened today.

We saw worse stock drops in February and March. Troops in London are meaningless speculation.

Lots of people here hoping for the deaths of their neighbors as well.

Thanks. I'm sorry for being difficult sometimes. In reality, I am very much naturally drawn to doomsday type thinking. I struggle with depression and anxiety, a general neurosis.

I've been fighting really hard to see things in a really big picture. In a word, I consider "providence". That nothing can really knock humanity off its course. Even death is an illusion. And it is indeed a struggle with how significant some choices seem to be.

Yeah, he personally typed in the virus code. I saw him do it.

So what? I do have a bunch of Indian co-workers. They pulled most people into the office anyway. I'm not attached to my job. And it'll be even cheaper when it's automated.

I'll take things as they come. There's no reason to panic before.

What's your point? You're just superior to all the stupid people?

The main reason I work from home is because they would require me to get vaccinated to go into the office... I would also have to do regular testing/wear a mask if I was positive within a certain time.

What's the point of paying astronomical gas prices to commute to work?

There's arguments for many sides of this. It's not so cut and dry as you think. People don't enjoy commuting or giving up hours of their life to go into a cubicle.

They don't really care about that anymore. Look at evergrande in China. Nobody cares. The system keeps growing.

Contradictions abound all around us. The lowest labor participation rate, the highest home prices, the highest stock prices.

People are so angry. They sit on their hands. A lot of drama. A lot of real reasons to be mad.

The system will keep growing, the people will keep caving. Everyone is squeezed.

That's just human evolutionary thinking though.

Americans still won't do shit cause they're pussies.

Okay, if that's your opinion. Really what is there to do? There is nothing to do but let go.

There's no reason to panic because nothing is going to happen at the catastrophic levels being predicted. People are obsessed with fear. It's the conditioning from the mass media which has injected movie after movie of zombie apocalypse thinking into our minds. This keeps us in short term thinking mode, not planning for long term investment, because, some will say, what's the point?

Right? But 90% of this board is just waiting for some terminator scenario where they think they'll have a chance.

Most likely I'll be dead of old age.

I completely agree with you, but can't you see that the idea of the reset peddled by this place is almost the same thing? They're gonna crash everything when they already own everything?

I'm pointing out the fallacy of the logic.

Just two more weeks?

Only for the past 25 years. When I was a kid, I thought for sure Jesus was on his way. One thing I've learned is that the death of society is greatly exaggerated.

That's a man, right?

Even with the chart, it shows most were "unvaccinated". My question is why anyone is dying "of covid" these days.

I'm open to the idea, I just think we need to question even the theory of depopulation. I mean, my in-laws are still kicking and still want me to get vaccinated...
