The right time to leak is now. If that is too risky, leak after a Veritas sting on your company. No one will be looking for a second leaker, since the focus will be on the person in the video. If you are in a position that has material with the target of the sting included in the email chain, or that they can access, even better.

It hides you, obviously, but it also protects the person in the video. The company will assume the PV target is the source of documents you leaked. Any action the company takes against the sting target will certainly include false charges that could potentially open the company up for wrongful termination, slander, libel, and other legal nightmares. The company foots the legal bill to punish the video target, defend themselves against any of the video target's lawsuits, and the payout on the other end. The Project Veritas target gets a settlement from the company for wrongful termination and gets their name cleared at the end.

You can help bring down the beast if you do it with some cover from your thirsty, but unwilling, coworker. It doesnt matter if they know they are helping you or not. Pick up that enemy defender's body and wear it like a vest as you charge the gate, figuratively, of course.
