Vatican preparing 'guidelines' for 'apparitions', 'other supernatural phenomena'
The Catholic Church's Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith will release guidance later this month to help believers discern "supernatural phenomena" such as "apparitions."
The subtext for all this, by the way, is not the Vatican prepping people for project Blue Beam. It's that Mary and Jesus sometimes appear to random people, such as three shepherd children in Fatima, Portugal back in 1917. Mary tells them to turn to her son Jesus and pray and fast, etc. etc. or bad things will happen, and that the Catholic church will suffer due to feckless priests and bishops.
The result is that when people cite these apparitions after decades of feckless church leadership leading the church lurching from crisis to crisis, the feckless leadership is telling people now to not pay attention to apparitions.
That said, it's not all bad, because if something like Our Lady of Zeitoun happened today, people would assume it was Blue Beam.

Line (inception towards death) inspires resistance (life)...others suggest progressivism (guidelines) to tempt one to follow along instead of resisting.
As for apparitions...appearance (perceivable) can be deceptive (suggested).
