In this mainstream article about Rob Reiner's family, the two relatively recent photos of him, his wife, and their three children appear to be faked:
Rob Reiner and Penny Marshall’s daughter, actress Tracy Reiner, ‘in shock’ over dad’s tragic death (New York Post 12/15/2025)
I'm referring to the third and fourth from last photos included in the article.
The fourth from last photo shows them in the snowy woods. Look at the shadow on his son in the middle, which shows the sun coming from low on the right side of the frame. The shadow from Rob's hat shows the sun coming down symmetrically in line with the camera.
In the third from last photo, first note that the grinning crew appears to be in a cemetery, and perhaps dressed for a fun boneyard picnic. It's a real botch as far as fakes go, but what to notice here is that no one notices even obvious fakes.
The most obvious problem is something you can look for to spot fakes in any group photo. Even though the family would be very close, crowded in to one another to fit in the selfie, you can see that there is not a single point at which any of their bodies is in obvious contact with anyone else.
The hand on the girl's shoulder I think was just left in there from the source photo. It's not in the right position to be her brother's hand. It could be Rob's hand, but does he have a sleeve tat no one has noticed before?
Final note: the bodies of Rob and Michelle were found by the daughter. With one son the accused killer, we have a pretty tight group.
I'm not here to argue the implications, but my guess is that something very strange indeed was going on with the Reiners, and the murders were faked as some sort of extraction. No one chases down a dead man, do they?
