Going through my old posts trying to find something. From a couple years ago so you had time for data to come in. I was analyzing the whole covid thing and did the vaccines help have less deaths of % of the population of a country.
This is where I got the data from:
Those are the data cut off dates. Countries stopped reporting and it drops off in the map if you move the slider right.
This data is all from this official site.
This is your peak around spring 2022. You can go to "table" tab to see text data. That column where I get the dates and the percentage of that country which was vaccinated for covid.
I use notepad++ where you hold the alt key and can select text vertically. Then using "sheets" in google, where top right with the icons you scroll down to sheets and it's like a spreadsheet with boxes. Pasting vertical copied stuff it goes properly in the boxes going down.
For the death data from covid, got that from here.
https://ourworldindata.org/covid-vaccinations
This is where you have all kinds of subsets of the data you can choose from. Your "metric" on the top you click that drop-down menu and choose what data you want showing up. I went to "confirmed deaths". Then you choose your "interval" from that drop down menu at the top, beside it. Went to "cumulative", I guess that means total deaths from covid since they started gathering data. This 'll be a chart, but you go to the tab at the bottom of the chart for "table", where you get columns of text for that info. You can sort by country on the left.. This is "total deaths". Then I'd copy all the text in there and paste in notepad++. Then select just the column of total deaths up to Aug 16, 2023. Paste that column in the google "sheets" program window.
Then I'd get the data of countries populations. In sheets can sort columns, but I had this column where I put numbers from 1-218 so I could re-sort it back that way. It was sorted by most vaxxed for covid, percentage. Sorted the countries alphabetically, copied that order, pasted in chatGPT, got it to name the country and population. Double checked that those were correct. Made column of population. Then I got chatGPT to calculate the death percentage of population. I pasted those 3 columns of country name, population and deaths from covid columns. And it calculated the death percentage. Doubled checked the data.. you'd take deaths, divide by population, then multiply by 100. Double check that by taking the population and multiplying it by the death percentage number. Data seemed correct.
In the:

They do not have this death percentage of the population data. They're trying to hide stuff, eh. That's why I wanted to do this spread sheet where I can see what the numbers are, beside each other.
Then I made a spreadsheet with these columns and you can click each one to sort it that way. These were the columns:
Rank for % vax. Country or region. Latest data. Population. Vax % of pop. Deaths from Covid. Death % of pop.
Then I did 4 posts where I'd sort things different ways. These were the images.
Compiled my own spreadsheet, because I can't find this data with these columns anywhere. You've got % of population of countries that got the covid vax. Then column of total deaths. Then column of death % of population. I can sort it whichever way. This is lowest deaths % of pop. It's not the highest vaxxed.

And here's sorting it by countries with the highest death % of the population. Note the column if it's a high vax percentage of the country's population. Then you'll know, oh it works or maybe it doesn't.

Then the original, sorted by most vaxxed countries. Does it work.. do you see this 0.5% death % rate of pop in any of these, which is around the highest deaths. Looks pretty good but I don't know.. Sure seems like you don't fuckin need this shit. lol.

Here's it sorted by the least vaxxed countries. Note the column of the deaths % of population. You'd think it'd be really high, right. Well, not really.

Now.. what do you observe from this data. Is there some odd stuff where lots of people are dying in the countries that have a high "Rank for % vax." Cause who knows.. maybe the vaccine would actually kill more. Like what's going on here.. you can have lots of deaths but then that might be what causes them to go get injected. I don't know.. but there's your data to check out.
ok I got these 4 open in tabs and looking at them. Watch the number of deaths in a country, not so much the "% of pop" that died. The countries that were the least vaccinated, you're not seeing a lot of "deaths from covid" going on. lol. But the countries that are the most vaccinated, the column of deaths, big numbers there. But did they have lots of people croaking, then they went, oh better get injected. I don't know. Maybe those countries that were least injected, people just don't travel there that much and the disease didn't get to spread around. A lot of this is Africa too.. like if you look at those maps of rank for vaccinations.. they weren't getting injected in Africa. But do you see lots of deaths going on. Probably cause nobody was visiting over there and it didn't get around. They have very high population though, so if it would get going, it probably would have been pretty bad. I don't know.
