Bullshit. You could easily receive realtime images of Earth from multiple meteo satellies directly, using only simple receiver and antenna, without any interference from any space agency. Completely unaltered and direct.

At least a dozen of satellites continiously transmit realtime unaltered images of Earth form space, from the altitudes from ~800 km to 30k km in open formats (including analog ones) right now, right from above you, available to anyone who want to receive them. If you are too dumb and ignorant to receive them by yourself, using DIY stuff, that absolutely does not mean that there are no such images.
