The Russians are blah blah dying and retreating in exaggerated numbers, and Ukraine are winning, they will succeed in the inches gained. If Russia has an upper hand by causing something by gaining territory, killed Ukrainians, halted an advance, or hit a base. It's warcrimes, sanctions, funding, and how Russia is losing, becsuse Putin is blah blah. The press follows this pattern. It doesn't deviate.
