Suicide is a sin in Christianity. Be ready to die for your loved ones, is obviously not the same as willing to die for some prize.

The Christian attitude is that they will suffer in the name of Jesus but get salvation in the afterlife and that evil people will face no consequence until after death.

Your version of Christianity is not Christianity at all. Those who don't fight evil being alive hardly could be named Christians. Being passive and obedient is the same as not existing at all.
