Morphine/Opium is a wonderful medicine, for very specific circumstances.

Surgery, trauma, hospice, and severe pain managment.

However, doctors prescribe opium for everything like it's a cure all.

Iv struggled with pain. Iv been on opiates. Unless your taking a lot and acclimated to it. They don't even work.

IBproffin 600 works. Switching up medications. Antinflamitories. Nerve medications.. Physical therapy. (<big one) Staying on top of the meds. Old school, borning and tedious pain management.

Yes. Even for serious pain. It works. Without the high and addiction.

Iv had doctors push opiates on me, even for stupid reasons.

Just recently, my sister in law was prescribed fenteynal for having covid.

Iv seen lives ruined because of this. Young people, who didn't even need pain managment begin to think they need opiates indefinitely because it cause phantom pain and neurosis. Iv had people die and become street drug addicts over this.

People I know who actually need it, take less than what they're prescribed. The dosages are too high, even for those who are in legitimate pain.

The dosage theyre giving to unsuspecting normies keeps getting higher and higher too.

However, prescribing opium for every crick, pulled tooth, or even longterm pain like herniated disk is bad.

Iv struggled with severe pain. Iv been on opiates. All they ever did was keep me too high to care. Never stopped the pain.

Yes. With higher dose and acclimation it would have eventually worked. So, one must get addicted or take copious ammounts for it to work? That's crap!
