Funny: I thought the military age was “can hold AK and stand while firing it.” It’s pretty much the “you must be this tall to ride” sign outside ISIS and Taliban recruiting centers. Sad: I knew at least one US vet who had shot and killed several children. ( by “at least one” i mean he openly talked about it, a lot of vets i know just say “i did things...” and won’t or can’t elaborate on “things.”) He tried to kill himself twice with drugs/pills and now has major brain damage and talks like someone with a bad stutter who is shit-faced drunk. I haven’t seen or heard from him in a decade and i’m not on socials, hope he’s ok.
