In the place I live, everyone seems to believe in the masks and social distancing. AND in the 5 countries closest to my city, they all believe in such a joke. And when I asked everyone I could ask, online or IRL they all believed that this is a realistically survivable crisis with a 1 year window. Not a Chinese Cultural Revolution, Nazi Germany or Somalia type of Crisis. They thought it like the Financial Tsunami of 2008 or Fukushima 2011 (where the crisis was fully survivable in a year even if you live in Fukushima in 2011).
