I imagine everyone has been off the deep end for a while. I point to the exploding suicide rate and cases of kids having serious mental issues that wouldn't exist had they physically been at school...and all the people who brush all that away and say "Well it's not as bad as dying" and "I gave up my freedoms for a while but it was for the greater good. No regrets! Mask on!"
Won't soon forget that true-to-life meme of a story posted on Reddit about there being more suicides than Covid deaths in Japan, and some poster writing "I don't get how anyone in a country that makes manga could feel that way. Why don't they just read Jojo?"
