Hmm well I don’t think he should be banned permanently, he has “contributed” to the discussion in the sense that he has inspired plenty of eloquent rebuttals to his MSM garbage.

But I agree with the point of spam. What about some middle ground where posts at -5 or worse are hidden from the new queue? conversations can still occur in them, and the queue isn’t spammed with garbage. If it gets abused by someone with bots they can be easily identified and removed (there may need to be a backend change that allows mods to see who voted on what, but I think that right should be given to the subwin creator, it’s logical and prevents all kind of vote fuckery)

Users votes are definitely stored because I can see my list of upvoted posts, seems like it could be a relatively simple tweak by the admins? The hiding of posts from /new would probably take an auto mod type thing, dunno if anyone’s set one up for this place but surely it’s being worked on if not.
