There is word before the word war that is a qualifier.
Genocide is legally defined as acts committed with the specific intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial, or religious group. It depends how you interpret this, but I could argue deliberately killing children (schoolkids), members of the group, identified by the Epstein coalition as Persians, could be classified as a "crime of crimes".
Now, if you are an Israeli, or an American working for Israel, a genocide is never a genocide if the killing is done on Iranians or Palestinians.
I don’t think you understand what the word genocide means, despite your use of words that make it appear that you do.
Rather than us having a debate on the definition of words and their meaning, how about you clarify your position on this. What are you really trying to say with "No genocidal war crimes…"?
The ICC's definition of genocide in Article 6 of the Rome Statute differs from the UN Genocide Convention's definition since the ICC is concerned with "individual criminal liability", e.g. ICC prosecutes individuals, whereas the Genocide Convention primarily addresses state obligations. According to the ICC definition, the United States and Israel have definitely committed "genocidal war crimes", as you put it, by deliberating targeting and killing children in bombings in Iran.
I hope we at least can agree on this, there is no question the killing of the school-children in Minab was a war crime. Furthermore the UN has officially accused the United States of committed war crimes in two strikes in Iran where many children were killed.
What do you think I'm trying to say? What I'm saying is just what I'm saying...there have been no "genocidal" war crimes on either side.
