Isn't the "submission thread" you posted engaged by only one comment? Your own comment even?
Let me get this straight... You posted a submission post from 28 days ago, asking people to share documentaries; you're the only reply 4 days later; and 3 days after that you post this, as if it's a conclusion of a discussion - "featured documentary"... Couldn't you just post the video as a plain post?
I am reminded of your statement that this forum is not your own forum, but by the looks of it, you seem to be the one who chose this video, and you provide a submission thread between yourself and you even... So bizarre...
What makes me question the initial post even more is the 4 upvotes from other users (without any suggestions) + this post got 6 upvotes from other users... Even your comments here got +2 on the first one, and +1 on the 2nd one... Most peculiar activity... As if some group is pushing only for visibility and not content. But that's, of course, one of the possible theories on that.
I've been in many conspiracy forums, and other forums, and this activity doesn't seem organic at all. Actually, it looks quite suspicious to say the least.
............
A second point would be the fact that this documentary suggests aliens as any kind of answer, but you have said that you believe in the Bible. Both ideas exclude themselves. I garnered suspicion against your honest belief in the Bible after I challenged you on it, using quotes from it, and you never replied... Now, my suspicion is confirmed, as no honest believer would defend a theory about aliens... Definitely wouldn't promote it. And most definitely wouldn't create a fake discussion between himself and himself to push to others...
I study psychology from very early age, I couldn't fathom any honest person pinning their own work, or popularizing any work that goes against their own belief system. Logically, that would mean that you are dishonest. A 2nd time I catch you promoting your own views without any organic support. (Your comment in the submission statement still stays on 1 upvote, so nobody actually voted for it).
You have put yourself into a very peculiar situation, where honestly, dignity, and common sense do not exist. Most assuredly, you are not an honest believer in the Bible. But then again, the devil can equally, like you, quote from the Bible. The truth always comes to light, it's God's law. Neither man, nor anything else can go against it.
As I already sense your next actions, I would like to remind you of these quotes from the Bible:
How familiar. You seem to be busy embodying some kind of criticism authority with almost everyone here and I have to remind you it's not needed at all.
People can disagree, no (one) has to answer to you and you are not the arbiter of truth.
A conspiracy forum doesn't need criticism? How is then the mainstream propaganda exposed, if not by critique?
Again, I have no authority, never displayed authority. Criticism is not authority. Authority is having power over another, which I have neither done, nor suggested. I feel puzzled to explain what English words mean to a supposed English speaker. Please, take into consideration that accusing me of things that I have not ever done is false accusation. If I am wrong, please show an example, where I authorize an action against someone else, or enforce power that I do not posses? I have specifically checked the meaning of the word "policing" for that situation, and it shows this: "The act of supervising, controlling, or regulating an industry, activity, or process to ensure rules and standards are met" (I don't read criticism is policing anywhere...)
Of course, people can disagree. But can they really disagree that you chose your own post, with only your own comment, to pin for the people here? Of course, I am not the arbiter of truth, that's why I debate, I contest, I challenge in the search of truth. I would be more than happy to be wrong on any case, because this builds character, it improves knowledge, and opens doors to new knowledge, otherwise hidden by a faulty theory. On the other hand, you try to silence my criticism - "and I have to remind you it's not needed at all". Am I wrong to assume that truth fears no criticism?
The philosopher John Stuart Mill famously wrote, "Truth emerges from the clash of adverse ideas" in his 1859 work On Liberty. Arbiter of truth - no, seeker of truth - yes.
It's not strange to make something available for ongoing monthly posts. I don't see the problem.
If you want to promote the pick of the community, you'd pin what the community wants. If you want your own pick, you'd pin your own pick.
I hope I can help you to see the problem. I am told this is a community forum, not your own personal forum. Or am I mistaken?
