IMO, the Christianity you and I know today emerged from a brutal ideological war that lasted centuries. The Roman Church, which was not born from Jesus but from the Roman Empire using his name to maintain control, won the war. IMO, the church didn't learn from the Roman empire, the church was built as an institution to serve the empire. This was one of Paul's "innovations". Paul was focused on organization and structure. And then you have the Jesuits (the Catholic Church, the Vatican).

I agree with you Jesus as presented to us is fake. So is our history and many other things. All fake, all made up. Read some of the manuscripts discovered at Nag Hammadi in 1945. Especially the Gospel of Thomas, you may find there is another Jesus they tried to hide from us. From the beginning, the true Christian church was in a spiritual struggle against Judaism. Judaism could not win in a head-to-head spiritual contest against Christianity. It was necessary for the Jews to throw their efforts behind undermining the Christian church by injecting it with a Judaic contagion. Their long-term strategy was to change the Christian church from the inside-out, to align more closely with their Judaic/Babylonian theosophy. And looking at the Christian Church today I would say the jews succeeded.
The protestant church is a gentile front and did not emerge before the 13th to 14th centuries.
