To what end? Nearly all of the clickbait posts here are garbage designed to make the reader outraged, paniced, discouraged, or some other useless emotion. Very rarely are these presented factually or in context, which leads to a story that directs the reader to an inaccurate conclusion. I'm not a piece of shit content farmer , so I can't answer the why, but I will continue to oppose the behavior. This specific one had far more truth than normal and I made an incorrect assumption based on hundreds or thousands of similarly worded bullshit posts here (much of which comes from this source). I stand by the statement, while allowing that on this specific instance I was wrong.
