What he said about people avoiding repentance was spot on. I met such a person recently on vacation.

He was in his 50s and an actual alcoholic. When I said my concern about it, he told me I was being "legalistic" and that he shouldn't spend his life feeling miserable over sin, even claiming it was an unchristian thing to do.

It reminded me of what this Youtuber was saying about freeing yourself of conscience over sin, rather than freeing yourself of sin.
