Blood for transfusions is highly likely to give you a disease. People who will never meet you decided for you that whatever you need the transfusion for takes priority over whatever disease they give you by being too cheap to properly screen the blood used in transfusions. Even if you are not JW, make your medical charts say that you are so that they're too scared to give you blood.
