I think the occult influence was there all along

Influence implies being (life) formed within flow (inception towards death), hence all flowing and each form within flowing along.

Occult implies form (perception) ignoring flow (perceivable) for one another (suggestion).

it's this symbol "accidentally" moving forward

Sym (together) bol (to throw)...the latter implies all moving each one within forwards; the former implies artificially holding one another together, while naturally being moved forwards.

To discern self one has to divide the artificial (sym) from the natural (bol) by letting go. SYM implies synthesis; BOL implies analysis...keeping SYM+BOL held together prevents ones mind from analyzing the synthesis.

As for accident (come by chance)...it's ones choice consenting to suggested symbolism which takes a chance.

There has got to be a hidden hand

Ones consent to any suggestion by another...hides ones hand. Why? Because ones consent permits another to shape suggestions manually (manus; hand).
